+So what is Sucrose-SAN?

+Sucrose-SAN is an art studio energized by sugar and caffein! The name came from our first project, Peril in the Poconos. In one of Drya's intermisions she blamed the whole comic on caffein and gave a very helpful tip to avoid sucrose.

+So that's where the first part of the name came from. The SAN part is kind of interesting. Drya and I (Coley) noticed that we had the same initials and wanted to use that in our name some how. So when we found the first part of our name the last part just fell into place!

+That was the birth of our cute little mascott, Sucrose-san. A large bag of sugar with a measureing cup for a hat. Voila! How cute!

+The members do a variety of diffent mediums of art but with our powers combined we make comics! They range from fun-parody to romantic-action and they are usually on the fantastical side of things.

+We started the studio nearly a year ago but we all have been together since high school. We branched out and went to separate colleges in differnt states and have brought what we have learned together into one unit!

+Were in the process of making a few different comics so right now, until those projects are ready for publishing, we have made our 'testing the waters' comic free for viewing!
